We might want to hear the long story.  Sounds like some important information is missing in order to comment.

Greenhills Public Gardens and Flower Pots
The Pot Ladies and Gardens Need Volunteers
Lisa Miller is looking for anyone who may be interested in helping with the gardens around Greenhills as well as the pots that are maintained throughout the year. She would love to hear from you and is looking to have a meeting at the end of March. If you love to work in the dirt, green thumb or not, she would love to hear from you. Either text or call 490--4720 or her email is limmiller62@yahoo.com. It is the volunteers that keep this village beautiful.

k-roman...CBT (computer based testing) is the norm today in the work force.  All the testing I do for my job is CBT, as well as the testing my husband does for his job.  Paper tests are a thing of the past in the work place.  Just as everyone wants the kids to have technology available in the classroom, we should expect that they can also use that technology to take the tests.  It is part of preparing them for the real world outside of academia.

No matter how you look at it, I expect my school district to strive to be like Wyoming or Norwood or any other well rated school.  I am tired of excuses.  Why can we not just admit that our school system can use some improvement and stop defending these poor scores.  Until one admits there is a problem nothing will change.  Our children need a better system.  No more excuses.  It's in the past.  Let's move forward.
And for the record, Cicero does actively participate in the school system.  You might want to go back and read his posts and watch some school board meetings.  He is at almost every one.

What is the status of the Neighborhood Watch?  When will there be another meeting to get this program going?

    Buildings:
Interesting..Norwood Cit Schools-rated excellent celebrating their 100 year old school building.  Most of their buildings are 100 years old also.  How can this be?  We keep hearing how our buildings just can not accommodate todays education needs.

  9. Diana GHS Class of 75 added a post in a topic Prescription Prices

I don't take Lipitor anymore and at the time the name brand discount card was still cheaper than the generic.  As long as Januvia has their discount program going I will enjoy it.  Can't beat $5 per month for it.  Thanks for your input.:)

  10. Diana GHS Class of 75 added a post in a topic Prescription Prices

My insurance used to be great.  In the past two years the cost has tripled and my coverage has gotten so bad.  Deductible of $6000 and prescription coverage is horrible.  They hardly cover anything on any of my prescriptions and if I get a 30 day supply rather than a 90 day supply they will not cover it at all or apply the cost (for a covered drug) to my deductible.
My Lipitor was outrageous so I found a card from Lipitor which makes the cost $20.  MY Jaunuvia cost for a 30 day supply is almost $400.  I found a card from the makers of Jaunuvia which makes the cost to me only $5.
It takes losts of research to figure out how to pay the high cost of medications and as you found out the price in other countries for the same medications is only a fraction of what it is here.

If you want more cool photos of Greenhills go to Greenhills Historical Society Facebook page.  Like the page and you will see photos posted almost every day about our history-past and current.  We also encourage anyone who would like to share their photos for our archives to let us know.  We can scan them and return the  original to you if you want them back.
Also, we updating our display in the museum this year to cover the 1950's in Greenhills.  If you have anything that would be good for the display you would like to donate to the archive or loan to use temporarily for the display it would be so very much appreciated.  This is your Greenhills history, add your own touch to the archives with memoribilia, photos, or personal stories.
Tell us our stories about living in Greenhills.  We would love to hear them and preserve these memories.

I am curious as to why the property management was handled so poorly. The units were not maintained well, many left empty for years, the ones we still own are 90% empty.  Even if we look past the reasons provided for the failure of the project, how can one justify the management of the property.  The money lost through mismanagement is enormous.  Why are the units left empty still?
