Going on 40 years, on both sides of the ball, union and merit, in all aspects of the game, from installation to ownership, and every job in between.

And just how many years do you have in the construction industry, W ?

Prevailing wage is just another way for the government to reach a little deeper into the little guy's pocket. I've seen it, up close and personal, for a very long time. Merit shops could build your buildings for you, just as safely, if not more so, for about half the cost.

    I'm just sayin'.

  5. P-38 added a post in a topic Obama = Avarice and Greed

This is a news report from Canada, which seems to have something that America now lacks - a free press.

Written by Dr. Paul L. Williams

"In my own life in my own small way, I have tried to give back to this
country that has given me so much," she said. "See, that's why I left a job
at a big law firm for a career in public service, "...Michelle Obama

No, Michele Obama does not get paid to serve as the First Lady and she
doesn't perform any official duties. But this hasn't deterred her from
hiring an unprecedented number of staffers to cater to her every whim and to
satisfy her every request in the midst of the Great Recession.

Just think, Mary Lincoln was taken to task for purchasing China for the
White House during the Civil War. An d Mamie Eisenhower had to shell out the
salary for her personal secretary from her husband's salary.
Total Personal Staff members for other first ladies paid by taxpayers:
Mamie Eisenhower: One-- paid for personally out of President's salary.
    Jackie Kennedy: One
    Rosaline Carter: One
    Barbara Bush: One
    Hilary Clinton: Three
    Laura Bush: One
    Michele Obama: Twenty-two

How things have changed! If you're one of the tens of millions of Americans
facing certain destitution, earning less than subsistence wages stocking the
shelves at Wal-Mart or serving up McDonald cheeseburgers, prepare to scream
and then come to realize that the benefit package for these servants of Ms
Michelle are the same as members of the national security and defense
departments and the bill for these assorted lackeys is paid by YOU, John Q.

There has NEVER been anyone in the White House at any time who has created
such an army of staffers whose sole duties are the facilitation of the First
    Lady's social life.

One wonders why she needs so much help, at taxpayer expense.

Note: This does not include makeup artist Ingrid Grimes-Miles, 49, and
"First Hairstylist" Johnny Wright, 31, both of whom traveled aboard Air
    Force One to Europe ...

Yes, I know, The Canadian Free Press had to publish this, perhaps because
America no longer has a free press and the USA media is too scared that they
might be considered racist or suffer at the hands of Obama.

    Sorry America !

And you'll keep on paying for American royalty to live the high life, if you know what's good for you.

    See "Fast and Furious".

That's all you'll ever need to know - your government selling automatic weapons to drug cartels in order to tighten the noose on the 2nd Amendment.

Beyond that, I would enter the "clinging to their guns and religion" statement.

Agreed... quotes from crackheads, even superbly talented ones, should be avoided at all costs, especially in a school newsletter.

The kid going to West Point is a major accomplishment; too bad they couldn't have used a quote from one of our great military leaders.

  10. P-38 added a post in a topic Do you support Occupy Wall St. ?

Busybody was traded for P-83 and a 2012 2nd round pick. Lucifer finally got off the schneid, and instead of just letting old P retire, he got something for him. Which is really nice for those on Jdale, seein' as how P is much easier on the old nerves than BB.

One thing all OWS supporters have in common, other than being a knucklehead, is that they all want something for free. Their demands read like a 3 year old's Christmas Wish List.

Obama, Biden, and Pelosi all support OWS, which is no surprise - they've been living off of other people's money their entire lives.

The countries that support it are avowed enemies of America, so, by association, doesn't that make the protesters our enemies, as well ?

  11. P-38 added a post in a topic GO BOMBERS!

Yeah, how 'bout them Bombers ? They snapped the Cards 61-game home win streak, then returned Colerain's barb with an even better one.

Colerain Student body chants "We've got Chicks ! "

    Bomber reply : "We've got Jesus !"

But, as everyone knows, you can't make a religious comment at a public school, so the doo doo hit the fan, first locally, now nationally. Check the link...

X's student body has a number of chants that have been nixed by the administration, including this classic, which was used back when X stunk in football, and was getting her ass whupped, which was quite often :

    "That's allright, that's OK,

you're going to work for us someday."

Sorry guys, but I can't help myself - when I see sanctimonious posters make spelling and grammatical errors, I must point them out.
    It's residents, not residence.

Term Limits ? We already have them. They're called elections. Look it up.

    There aren't any, not isn't.
