December Jam and Christmas Party

Okay, who wants to play this month ?

Saturday, December 18, starting at 7:00 p.m.

Maybe we can work it out where each act gets an hour, which, of course, would include your set-up and tear-down time. So that means most bands will get 45 minutes playing time, and Pete will get 20.

Ha ha, just kidding Pete laugh.gif

Each band will be required to include at least one (1) Christmas song.

7-8 -

8-9 -

9-10 -

10-11 -

11-12 -

12-1am -

Post 'em up, or send me a PM.

Rusty,

Just remember you have to line-up road assistance for him if he plays. You know, those pesky physician, post-op, no lifting orders and all...

Anything featuring me is scary but could be called the one ear non hearing sheetkickers or surgically repaired sheetkickers.

A lot of people put much effort into scheduling these events and the musicians all make commitments to come on out and perform for everyone.

Please show some support and stop in and enjoy the music and the good people that will be there. This is a family friendly venue and beer, soft drinks and beer will be available.

I hope to see you there...

In spite of the poor weather and holiday parties, another successful event!!

Kevlaaarrgggh ended up resembling Bandkamp as Bobby and Todd made unscheduled appearances. They were great in the early spot, but that is when musicians always play their best-when almost nobody's there to see them.

Wolfie made his comeback and got a little part of his life back after serious back surgery. Screamin was great on the drums and the sheet-kickers played with a minimum of errors, even though they had never all been on stage together at the same time.

Allen/Hall delivered as they always do. They might be the longest running act in the history of this event.

Danny Hall stayed on stage to be joined by Glenn and Pete as the Walking Wounded closed out the night. Another great performance.

The next event will be saturday 1-22-11 at the legion again. With a little promoting, we have several acts from outside the immediate community wanting to play. I would love to hear from the local acts so that we can put a schedule together.

Soup kitchen?

Creeper?

BandKamp?

here's a little Christmas bonus. Greenhills' own Jim Zartman (Deerhill) put this together for the Vineyard Church last year. they now have over a million hits.

Jim is a veteran of these open mike events

Good beer, good music, good friends - great party ! Thanks to all the volunteers and all those who showed up.

And a special thanks to Dazed for not only providing the sound system, but setting it up and tearing it down, and dazzling us with his hack-saw technique on the axe.
