Weaponizing Religion: ROMANS 13

Very interesting.......

http://www.infowars.com/weaponizing-religi...aldwin-reports/

Many Christian pastors and leaders today are erroneously reviving the divine-right-of-kings argument used in the Dark Ages, which created some of the most horrific human affairs in history. They, like the grandfather of Communism, Georg Hegel, argue that government is Divinely sanctioned to do anything it pleases and that God requires people to submit regardless of God’s standards of justice. This argument has been used by virtually every tyrant since Jesus’ life, including Adolf Hitler.

1Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.

2Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.

3For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:

4For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.

5Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.

6For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.

7Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.

Seems very clear. If he intended to say anything like "resist tyranny", he should have said so. He even says render fear to whom fear is due, which means be afraid of those in power, as in Verses 3 and 7.

What does InfoWars mean by "Weaponizing Religion"?

Some things should be obvious....like resisting evil.

American Revolution?

Nuff said.

God is not the author of fear....

I would have to look for how we should fear gov't in the bible.

Fear of the Lord doesn't mean be afraid or SCARY...

I KNOW that!....duh. laugh.gif

Weaponized here I think means how the state will USE churches

and Schools to gradually indoctrinate children and the masses into

getting them to not oppose what the state has has planned....

Globalism, communism, Gun control ETC.

Kinda like propaganda carpet bombing BEFORE the GLOBAL NOOSE

of tyranny wraps around our necks.

Making sure the Sheep are docile before a new

Night Of The Long knives.

"They" would like us to "go quietly" if we can....They will try to

enlighten us into being ONE with Mother Earth Blal bla....Some

will even willingly slip the noose over their own enlightend heads. biggrin.gif

Perhaps obvious, but he didn't take the time to say it. Instead, the passage reads like a Shepard Fairey poster:
