Isn't that the same night of the "I love Greenhills" dinner and dance at Molloy's - that's part of the village's 75th anniversary celebrations for 2013?

no better way to show how "you love Greenhills" than to support a function of the beautification committee, which features Dougie, Diana, and the lovely Terri Treinen.

It appears they love Greenhills so much they wanna burn it down and start over.

It's council sanctioned from what I gathered.

due to a scheduling conflict at the legion, we won't be able to go on the 16th. The 23rd is available, however, there is an event booked the following day, which means we would have to stay up there extremely late to load off all the equipment. Stay tuned. We're working on it

Is one of the local bands playing the dance down at Molloy's?

As of today, I know Gil's isn't scheduled. I've heard different bands tossed around and from what I've heard none of them were "Local". I may be wrong but it's what I heard earlier in the week.

Maria Waltherr Willards' friend is providing the music during the cocktail hour, according to the village website: http://www.vivoflamenco.com/

But good God, you can tell there is an aging demographic in this village. The flier for the event lists the ENTIRE menu but nothing about the entertainment.

Screw the food, I want to know who is playing. I have more then enough dinners at Molloy's to know the food will be standard catering fare at that price. I'm not shelling out $30 a ticket if the music stinks. I heard this guy's name mentioned as the main act: http://vimeo.com/45871967.

he claims he was once part of the drifters on his web site, although I can't find any credits to the name he uses right now.

The drifters have sued more people than I have people claiming to be my love child.
