Shooting on Chalmers

Great, as if we needed more proof Greenhills is slipping.  Let's see, lives in rental, not cooperating, police say shooting during the commission of a crime, call me insensitive, but sounds like a drug deal to me.

Greenhills Police

JUNE 1, 2017:  Last evening at 11:06 PM, Greenhills Police Officers responded to 1 Chalmers Court to investigate a panic alarm.  While enroute, they were told there was a shooting at that location and Greenhills medics were summoned as well.  Officers found Jameel L. Johnson, a 26 year old resident, shot multiple times inside the home.  Two suspects fled the scene and officers searched for the vehicle but it has not yet been found.

We identified witnesses, posted an officer at the crime scene, and summoned Hamilton County Sheriff’s detectives.  Detectives processed the scene, interviewed witnesses, and are continuing the investigation.  The victim is in stable condition at University Hospital, suffering from multiple non-life threatening gunshot wounds.  It appears the victim was targeted and that this was not a random act.

If you see something, say something!  If you see someone acting suspiciously in your neighborhood, call us immediately so we can check it out while the suspicious act is still occurring.  We would rather check on something that turns out to be okay than miss the apprehension of a criminal.  Call us at:

513-825-2101 – Greenhills Police Headquarters

513-825-2080 – Dispatch

911 – Emergencies

Last evening at 11:06pm would have been May 31st.

That's what that guy gets when he poses as an aficionado of herbs and delivers Rosemary "out of season".

Anywho, after interviewing him at the hospital he told me that that was his last day on the job as he was going to retire and kick-back in his 5.0. Mr. Johnson also stated that he was taking advantage of his indoor victory garden that he and some of his closest friends built and tended to together.

In other news, Flight Recorder was found curled up in his bed licking his feather pillow chanting over and over again, "If only I could pet the pretty boys."
