For those of you following and perhaps upset about what's going on with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in regard to "Net Neutrality", you may also be interested in this free e-Book written last year by a Harvard Professor. “Captured Agency: How the Federal Communications Commission is Dominated by the Industries it Presumably Regulates” http://ethics.harvard.edu/files/center-for-ethics/files/capturedagency_alster.pdf

Great thread, Monique.

I had a chance to review the link you posted.

We must all ask ourselves how WE as humans stay net neutral. We need to ask questions like, "What does it even mean to stay net neutral"? "How do I effectively resolve my inner feelings of wanting to prowl the web all day"? "When I see others on the world wide web how do I handle the perception that THEY may not be following guidelines that matter to me for net neutrality"?

It matters

We must ask others that might have the real answers so that we can form our opinions of this matter properly. Let me give one clear example of one person's knowledge. It is on a different subject, but it will lead back to the point of listening to those who seeked the truth and are now purveyors of it. Exhibit A: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cesSRfXqS1Q

What is my personal perspective

For every hour you spend on the internet spend the same amount of time NOT on the internet. Doing this keeps me net neutral.

I hope that this helps others realize what options people may have to keep themselves net neutral.

Blight - Thanks for your thoughts on this.  The internet is a wonderful resource but it's not our only resource.
