Very cool. Congrats to the kids and to their parents.

I'm still p.o.'d at OLR, but on the plus side they seem to have retained a pretty active youth group, which is good for the parish, good for the Church, good for Greenhills, and most importantly it's good for the kids.

Again, to Jamie and Matt, we're very proud of you. Well done.

How cool that these kids are so willing to publicly claim the power of Christ in their lives. PTL!

Well, they say that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree... wink.gif

Congratulations Jamie and Matt on a job well done.

Back in the day, that same youth group was known for some fantastic outings. Canoeing, hiking, riding horses, and even trips to Waynesville for skydiving were the order of the day. Phro's sister was in our group, and she could attest to the great times we had.

Jamie is a neat person and I'm glad she is doing so well. I would like to think that it may have something to do with the fact I was her babysitter? Probably not though....

It is a little wierd to think that kids that I babysat are about to graduate high school and go on to college! It makes me feel old and I am only 21!

Oh, my CB#1, it's just beginning!

I ran into a woman the other day whose son my son had coached in summer swim league....as an 8 and under. I asked what he was up to and she blithely replied that he was a doctor. Sheesh! Talk about feeling old. It didn't make my son feel too spry either.
